The director, Balazs Gera, was born in Budapest in 1965 and owns a master of theatre studies in Paris X. After creating the company Balazs Gera, he directed "un jeune home pressé" of Eugène Labiche and "La Ronde" of Arthur Schnitzler. Since 2001, he has directed at the Odéon - Théâtre de l'Europe Eternel Quotidien of Véronique Olmi, Inversion of Géraldine Maillet and Orphée Tzigane of Zéno Bianu; at the Festival d'Avignon Le secret perdu à jamais du camembert russe of Ksenia Dragounskaïa; at the Comédie Française Helga la folle of Làzlo Darvasi; during the festival Passages 2003 various texts of different writers from Central Europe. He also directed at the Théâtre Populaire of the Lorraine region, at the Centre Dramatique Régional de Thionville and at the Théâtre du Rond-Point of Paris, the "Enquête sur les roses" of Làszlo Darvarsi; at the ACB of Bar-le-Duc and at the Festival Perspectives Nouvelles of Saarbrücken, "J'aimerais chanter sur l'eau" of Delphine Jayot; at the Théâtre Populaire of the Lorraine region, at the Centre Dramatique Régional of Thionville and at the Théâtre du Pays de Morlaix, "Don Quichotte": an adaptation of the great novel "Don Quichotte" of Miguel de Cervantès by Delphine Jayot.
