| Created in 1990 by the flautist Denis Raisin Dadre, Doulce Mémoire dedicates itself to the music of the Renaissance thanks to the famous influence of the 16th century (particularly le Concert des Voix et des Instruments). After being located in Paris, the company is currently settled in the Centre (Val de Loire) region where the French Renaissance left its greatest memories. Doulce Mémoire established itself on national and international scenes as the most original and creative company in its sphere. The Doulce Mémoire's programs draw up several pictures of the Renaissance, from amazing inns to burial ceremonies of the kings of France, from Carnival songs of the Laurent le Magnifique period to psalms of the Reform. |
